PHOSPATE PRIMER is a one-component primer based on a blend of vinyl, phenol and epoxy resins with phosphoric acid. Unlike other primers in the market, it is exempt from chromium and chromates.
As well as ideal to paint aluminum windows in your home, it is indicated to paint zinc, galvanized steel and other non-ferrous metals or light alloys.
How to paint aluminum windows:
1. Cover the windows with paper or plastic and seal with masking tape.
2. Sand the whole aluminum surface till it becomes matt.
3. Remove the generated dust and other rests of oil and dirt with a wet cloth impregnated with UNIVERSAL PRIMER MACY or CLEANING PRIMER MACY.
4. Let the primer evaporate.
5. Apply the PHOSPATE PRIMER. You may choose white, clear or any other color thanks to our INSTAN-COLOR TINTING SYSTEM.
6. Get your dream finish with any of our enamels. If application is done by roller or brush, we recommend you our SYNTHETIC ENAMEL MACY. You will get a gloss, satin or matt finish in your favorite color.
7. If you are a DIY crafter, you may have at hand an air paint spray gun, and you will be able to apply our POLYURETHANE ENAMEL ETERNO, gloss or satin, in your favorite color.
